MIDDIE MANIA!
Midview's Tri-M would like to announce MIke Van Kerkhove as the winner of the 2009 Middie Mania Talent Show! Mike wowed the judges and audience members with his martial arts! This second dregee black belt broke 10 slabs of concrete for the final round to seal the win! Along with being an accomplished martial artist and Eagle Scout, Mike is a member of Senior Chior, Blue Jays, Midview Express and AFJROTC. You can see him turning pages in Midview's production of Guys and Dolls!
What is Middie Mania?
It started out as a fundraiser and turned into a full blown production! The annual talent show provides an artistic outlet for all ages that are willing to get in front of an audience and show his or her stuff! Much like American Idol, there are three rounds of Middie Mania and the acts that move on are determined by the scores of the judges and the audience. This year was the third year of Middie Mania and a true success! Tri-M would like to thank all of the sponsors and judges that donated their time and money to make this talent show such a success!
